「ものの」「ながらも」「つつも」「とはいえ」: contrast

免許めんきょは取とったものの、もう何年なんねんも運転うんてんしていない。

「ものの」: not as hoped; 「ながら（も）」 「つつ（も）」: two sides of one subject; 「とはいえ」: granted, but. Compare N3 「にもかかわらず」 「といっても」.
