「（よ）うが」「（よ）うと」「まいが」: no matter what

誰だれに何なにを言いわれようと、わたしはこの仕事しごとを続つづけるつもりだ。

Volitional + 「が」 「と」: no matter what; 「〜うが〜まいが」: whether or not. Read 「うとも」 「遅おそかれ早はやかれ」. Compare 「ても」 「にせよ」 「であれ」.
