A short story: the second-hand bookshop owner

ようやく見みつけてもらえたと言いわんばかりに、店主てんしゅは目尻めじりにしわを寄よせて笑わらった。

On a rainy evening the narrator buys a poetry book full of pencil notes, and later learns who wrote them; 「〜んばかりに」「〜ともなく」.
