〜てばかりいる: meaning and usage

- verb (te-form)ばかりいないで
How it is used
'Do nothing but A, always A', usually with the speaker's disapproval. 「〜てばかりいないで」 tells someone to stop doing just that. Unlike plain 「〜ている」, it stresses that nothing else gets done.
